Roll is an important part of the mill industry, its production costs related to the quality, production safety and production costs of steel production enterprises. CBN Insert, the hardness is only second to diamond, has high temperature red hardness and wear resistance, is the first choice for machining high hardness rolls. Especially Halnn BN-K1 and BN-S20 solid cbn insert are widely used, the advantages are as follows:

Rolls Hardness: HSD80
Insert Grade: BN-K1
Cutting Data:ap=4mm,Fr=1mm/r,Vc=55m/min
Machining Type: Dry Cutting
The advantages of BN-K1, compared with ceramic cutters, the tool life will be 6 times of ceramic cutters when the feed rate is 2 times of ceramic cutters, and the final failure mode is normal wear.
